I've got some sort of rodent living under my garden. It's not eating my plants, so that's good, but it is digging holes looking for food (apparently) and messing up my cacti (getting snagged on the spines?). This is probably a dumb question, but I've never dealt with it before. Today I found a mouse corpse in not-so perfect condition (it looked like one of the stray cats around here took care of it), as in it had some holes but was not terribly decomposed, and it was sitting right on top of my new carrot seedlings. I feel like I've been swimming in a mud puddle, but I've only been working in the garden for the last two hours. Hello, I'm new here and have no idea what to do about my mole problem. We have a 1 acre back yard and over the WINTER the moles have taken over. There are hundreds of tunnels. In January we put poison pellets down the twenty holes we had, and I think there was some kind of aphrodisiac in them because now there are hundreds of tunnels.
